As a user of Tap-In’s services, you are expected to adhere to the following standards of behavior to ensure your safety, the safety of others, and a respectful travel experience:
- Comply with Local Laws: Users must obey all local laws and regulations in the
countries they visit. Any violation (e.g., drug use, solicitation, underage drinking) may result in immediate termination of coverage. - Respect Cultural Norms: Users must show respect for the local customs, traditions, and people of the countries they visit. Disrespectful behavior may lead to service suspension
- Maintain Contact: Users are expected to respond to Tap-In’s regular check-ins
(“Tap-Ins”) and maintain communication, especially when notified of escalated
concern. - Accurate Information: All personal and travel information provided to Tap-In must be accurate and kept up to date throughout the trip.
- Use Equipment Responsibly: Users must take care of any Tap-In issued equipment (e.g., trackers) and return them as instructed. Lost or damaged items may incur
replacement fees. - No Impersonation or Misuse: Users may not impersonate others or misuse Tap-In technology, services, or personnel for unauthorized or inappropriate purposes.
- Respect Tap-In Staff and Partners: Users must interact respectfully with Tap-In personnel, affiliates, and any third-party contacts involved in service delivery.
- Avoid Reckless Behavior: Users should not engage in dangerous or reckless behavior that would knowingly increase the likelihood of an incident requiring escalation.
- Emergency Cooperation: In the event of an emergency or concern, users are expected to cooperate with Tap-In’s guidance and escalation protocols.
- Non-Commercial Use: Tap-In’s services are for personal safety use only. Users may not resell, share, or exploit Tap-In services for commercial purposes without written consent.
